A colorful ceremony of Utshob Group presents BPL NIGHT 2019 was held in Jamaica, New York last Sunday. In this ceremony, the trophy and winning prizes were presented to the winners of The Bangladesh Premier League OF USA. The organizers announced that in the future there will be more participation from different states and communities.
At the beginning of the ceremony, the singers delivered a pleasant performance with their singing and took the program in a pleasant mood. At this time, it seems like, the hall room of the Taj Mahal of Jamaica was transformed into a part of Bangladesh. After the cultural program, the special guests were taken to the stage. On the stage, Queens Borough presidential candidate Anthony Miranda, New York State Assembly 37 candidate Mary Zubaida, Queens District 25 candidate for New York City Fakrul Islam Delwar, cities district 39 candidate Mamunul Haque and other mainstream politicians expressed their fascination with the whole arrangement. Later, they handed over the crest to the sponsoring organization.
Mr. Raihan Zaman, CEO of the tournament’s title sponsor Utshob Group expressed his enthusiasm for such a successful event. He expressed his desire to make the next BPL event even bigger. He hoped that more teams would participate in the future and wished to have more sitting arrangements so that the family can come and enjoy the game.
Mr. Abu Taher, Head of Time Television and the live broadcasting partner of BPL USA said that they are pleased with the broadcast services they provide to people on a smaller range and lower budget. He also promised to be involved with the event in the future.
Grand sponsor GETWELL MED-CARE’s MD Mr. Shamim Ahmed, BPL adviser Syed Al-Amin Rasel, BPL Media director Mehir Choudhury and power sponsor’s authorities were also presented at the ceremony.
At the end of the program, the organizers handed over the trophy to the champion team Dhaka Gladiator and runner-up team Dhaka Vipers. Ten other teams participating in the tournament were also awarded. Besides, former Bangladesh National Cricket team player Hafizur Rahman Sunny was awarded The Lifetime Honor.
